Ellicott City, Md. (January 12, 2009) – Columbia Builders has announced that pre-construction pricing is available at its newest community of 42 single family homes called Hollifield Hills.
Located in a secluded section of an established community off Old Frederick Road in northern Ellicott City, the community boasts Patapsco Valley State Park as a backdrop.
Until June 30, 2009, special pricing on three of the neighborhood's five floor plans will be offered in the mid- to upper $600,000 range. Houses start at 2,600 square feet and offer the buyer a choice of exterior elevations with brick or stone accents.
"This will be not only a beautiful community of new homes, but these houses will also be energy-smart. This is an important distinction in today's environmentally aware times," said Columbia Builders founder Jim Greenfield.
"People looking for a new home in Howard County would be hard-pressed to find a nicer neighborhood at these value-conscious prices."
"And in our current economy, it is difficult to gauge how quickly the cost of construction materials will accelerate," he continued, adding he anticipates price increases shortly.
